I am operating a business and therefore want to use my twitter account to tweet my current events and status updates. I also want to follow people and organizations. The problem is that when I follow a person or an organization, that person’s or organization’s twitter feeds flood my twitter account.
How do I follow people and organizations without receiving their Tweets (or at least limiting their Tweets)? For example, I want to align my business with Four Seasons Hotel by following them (i.e. I want visitors to my twitter account to see that I follow them so that they are aligned with my business). But, by following Four Seasons Hotel, I receive all of their Tweets – which overshadows my own businesses’ Tweets. I don’t Tweet very often so all of the people and organizations I want to follow will "take over" my twitter account.
A similar question to the one above is why is it that many people and organization twitter accounts I’ve checked follow hundreds of people, yet their twitter accounts are not flooded with updates and tweets from their followers?
Call me crazy but I am very curious and am puzzled why I can’t find the answer to this question in the many forums I’ve checked. I would really appreciate some help. Thank you.

try business.twitter.com
and there is no way that if u follow somebody u won’t see their tweets on ur timeline or u can limit them..there’s nothing u can do about it!
and the answer to ur next question is that maybe the accounts they follow don’t tweet that much..! as simple as that..!
